Journaling:
We decided to spend the day at Seaside, and piled in the car at the early hour of 10am (we’re not a morning family!). We brought extra clothes with the intention of letting you both play. And play you did! It started out easy enough. You both waited eagerly for the waves to hit your toes. And then you’d squeal with delight. But one of the waves came in farther than the rest, and Liam - that one caused you to get dizzy enough to fall over. The shock - and probably the cold - didn’t sit well with you and you were hesitant of the waves after that. You did turn it into a game of sorts where you’d almost tease the waves to get you, and then run away, laughing and screaming. Unfortunately, it seemed like every time you braved the water again, you would get knocked over. You were never happy about it, but you did recover faster with each spill. Connor, you pretty much ignored us all and just ran around having the best time ever! Digging in the sand, running through the waves, and begging us to go out farther (to which we always answered no). Our trip to Seaside turned out to be quite the awesome daycation!
